The US government doesn't own land in China. Foreign ownership of land is not permitted under Chinese law. Everything in China is owned by the state. So then why does China own 380,000 acres of farmland here in America?
Back in 2023? The Senate voted to prevent China, Russia, North Korea, and Iran from purchasing US farmland. It was a bipartisan push to scrutinize our adversaries, but the horse was already out of the barn. China currently owns farmland adjacent to 19 of our most sensitive military bases. Who needs spy balloons? These guys are living right next door. It's alarming to me that we have no law on the books in this country to prevent the Chinese from buying US farmland. Under the guise of farming, these Chinese landowners could set up reconnaissance sites, install tracking technology, use radar and infrared scanning to view our bases and attempt to fly drones over them as ways to surveil military sites. Since 2023, Chinese intruders have attempted to breach military facilities over 100 times. Make no mistake, my friends, the Chinese will use this farmland to learn more about US military capabilities and our military movements and our technology. How could we have let this happen. I’ll tell ya how, In Washington, the inmates are running the asylum.
And how are the Chinese doing it? Mexican cartels earn money from drug sales. Drugs that were manufactured in China. They then turn the money over to Chinese criminals who use it to buy this real estate, and we just sit by and do nothing, but we can do something. The Trump administration has launched the National Farm Security Action Plan to address these concerns about foreign ownership of American farmland, particularly by the Chinese. The initiative aims to protect the US food supply and agricultural research from foreign influence. The plan includes a ban on Chinese nationals buying farmland in the US. This is part of a border effort to safeguard American agriculture from foreign adversaries. We must always be mindful of the fact that the communist Chinese are not our friends. They seek to destroy our way of life, and as Americans, we can't let that happen.
The US government, by law, can seize foreign-owned property, particularly if the property is involved in illegal activities or if it has been deemed necessary for national security. So here's an idea: confiscate the land from the Chinese and start a new program. This program will offer plots of this land, at our agricultural universities, to our young graduates and their families. Let them bring the latest farming technology to the land and get a fresh start on one of the many things that has made this nation great, "Farming". We can call it:
"The New 40 Acres and a Mule Project."
