It’s time to disband the FBI. The word "special" in front of the agent has become a joke. There is nothing special about this agency. Not to take away from the men and women who joined the FBI to make a difference and to bring federal criminals to justice, but it’s been one bad apple after another and it's time to clean house.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation continues its plunge into terminal corruption and is being ignored by the government oversight committee. They have lost the trust of the American people. Comey, McCabe, Strzok, and Page ran a coup against former President Trump and got away with it.
It's been one failure after another, from missed opportunities to prevent mass shootings to evidence of misconduct by agents in standoffs with militias in Nevada and Oregon, not to mention obstruction charges and leaking classified material. How about running a dozen paid "confidential informants" in the Governor Whitmer kidnapping plot? And now we suspect they had a role in the January 6th protest.
They interfered in the 2020 election by pushing social media to crack down on alleged Russian propaganda before the Hunter Biden laptop story came out in the NY Post. Twitter did not allow the story to be shared at all. The FBI knew then, as we know now, that the story was true. One in six voters who voted for Biden said they would not have voted for Biden had they heard the true story. Do the math.
Now, there's no doubt we need an investigation service at the federal level, but it should not be the FBI. Congress should authorize and create an investigative division within the U.S. Marshals Service and before it gets to far out of control, disband the FBI.
