They Need to Get It Together

Just a few hours after the polls opened in Arizona, voting centers in Maricopa County, the most populous county in the state, began reporting that their respective vote tabulation machines were rejecting voters’ ballots. Voters were told they needed to go to another voting center to cast their ballot. The problem was that they didn’t properly check out of their original voting center and were informed upon arriving at another voting location that the county’s e-Pollbook system had classified them as having already voted. Their votes were never tabulated. The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors unanimously voted to certify the results. Claiming a highly sucsessful election process despite serious concerns from poll workers, observers, and voters.

In Washoe County, Nevada, the second largest county in the state, the livestream cameras capturing the vote-counting process went dark from 11:30 p.m. until 8 a.m. the next morning. After the blackout, Democrats took the lead. This is the same crowd that hauled in hundreds of thousands of votes in the middle of the night, for Biden in 2020. The only way we can get accurate results is to count the votes as quickly as possible. Not take a week. They need to investigate the board of elections in Washoe County, Nevada and Maricopa County, Arizona. Jail time if necessary.

Florida had accurate and transparent results the night of the election in a state of 22 million. It took Arizona and Nevada a week. Population of Arizona: 7 million. Nevada has a population of 3 million. How did Florida get it so right? Number one good leadership. Number two, in Florida, a mail-in ballot has to be received by 7:00 p.m. on election day. They start counting mail-in ballots 22 days before election day. Results from early voting must also be posted within 30 minutes of the polls closing. They also put in some additional guidelines, more money for better machines, and more professionalized training.

There isnt just a local impact of these state elections. They also effect the balance of power in Washington, which in turn effects the way the entire country is governed. When it comes to Arizona and Nevada, third world countries do a better job.

They need to get it together!
